With heavy hearts we announce Roy’s passing at home with family by his side on September 11, 2022, at 89 years of age. Son of the late Ulric and Estelle Renaud. Beloved and devoted husband of Lauretta with whom he celebrated 68 years of marriage. Dear father of Denise Best (Peter), Diane Renaud (Kenneth), John (late Caroline), Estelle Prinsen (John), Lynda Haig (Todd), Lucille Gauthier (Robert) and Steven (Juanita). Cherished Pépé of Tim, Matthew, Katelyn, Amy, Sharon, Stephanie, Jacklyn, late Caroline, Scott, Bethany, Alissa, Travis, Ethan, Elijah, Celine, Solange, and Jonah. Great grandpa of 22 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his siblings Elda Bellemore (Aurel), Lena Renaud, Cecile Delisle (Alfred) and Leo Renaud (Joyce). Special thanks to all the Paramed PSW’s for all your care and compassion over the years.
Roy retired from Chrysler after 30 years of service. He was also a farmer in McGregor for many years. Roy loved music especially playing his violin. He was known as a master home brewer. Roy was devout in his faith, and it helped carry him through his life. Roy will remain in our hearts forever. A private service will take place at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd.
