With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Marilyn on September 27, 2022, at 69 years of age. Loving daughter of the late Jim and Evelyn Markham. Cherished mother of Jessica Lacasse and Jacob Newman. Sister of Glenn (Barb), Greg, Dennis (Carol), Suzanne (Billy), Judy, Kathryn (David) and the late Maureen and Paul. Also survived by many aunts, uncles as well as many nieces and nephews. Marilyn was a practicing nurse for over 20 years. Although she was unable to continue her career, she cared for people with the Hospice of Windsor & Essex County.

Marilyn enjoyed gardening, cooking classes and spending time with her friends, neighbours and her beloved Marley. Marilyn is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. N, Essex on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. On Monday, family and friends are invited to meet after 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Parish (12048 County Road 34, Maidstone) followed by the funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
