With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Gino on October 13, 2022, at 84 years of age. Treasured husband and best friend of Ida (nee Marinacci) with whom he celebrated 58 years of marriage. Loving father of Dave Fantinato (Teresa). Son of the late Angelo and Maria Fantinato. Son-in-law of the late Domenic and Connie Marinacci. Brother of the late Gina, Eido, and Elio all of Italy. Brother-in-law of Hector Marinacci (Betty), John Marinacci (Jane). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gino was very fond of his late faithful companion, Diesel.

He worked at Kelsey Hayes for many years and drove transport for Wolverine Freight Systems. Gino was a jack of all trades, finishing his career as a school crossing guard. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held at St. Angela Merici Parish (980 Louis Ave, Windsor) on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 11 a.m. A celebration of life will follow at the Cabota Club at 12:30 p.m.
