Obituary for Geraldine Doan
(nee Hodges)
Passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side at the Hospice of Windsor on January 15, 2023, at 78 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Murray (2001). Loving mother of the heart to Greg Chauvin and Scott Turner. Treasured grandmother of the heart to Justin (Katie) and Adam Chauvin. She will be sadly missed by her dear friend Betty Chauvin (nee Sinisac). Dear sister of Ron Hodges (Laurie). Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Geraldine worked many years at Cottam Die Casting and was a long time cook at the Grand Central Tavern. In her later life, she enjoyed travelling and camping with Scott and Greg. Special thanks to the staff of the Hospice of Windsor for taking such great care of Geraldine.
Cremation will take place. A graveside service will take place at a later date. Donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor.
